Conquering a fear....

Yesterday was a pretty big day for me ... I actually conquered a huge fear...
Many years ago, a friend of my sisters' died in a motorcycle accident. He was
one of the sweetest, finest, and best Salsa dancers on the planet. When he died
I think I was about 19 or 20. Our community was devastated because of the loss

of this dynamic soul. RIP Leony

On the day we found out about his horrific death, I decided that I would never, ever ride
a motorcycle. Like ever!

Today, my best friends father told me to get on his bike ...A SUZUKI BOULEVARD 109r

Well my familia... I did it, I got on the motorcycle. He took me on a 2 hour drive thru the shores of New Smyrna Beach thru Daytona Beach! It was exhilarating and so freaking dope. I didn't even hold on after the first 15 minutes. Then on the way back home we were on the highway going like 100mph. WHOA!

I am so glad that I did not chicken out! I am no longer in fear of getting on a bike.

Maybe I will tell Dad to take me to Bike Fest in October. Sounds like a plan!

Me and Poppa! Thanks Dad for helping me get over this fear!
I am free!

I love me and you! Forever!
