Happy Papi's Day! I love you Papi! I love it that GOD picked you to be MY father. Thanks for loving my sisters, brother and I so much. Thank you for taking us to school and picking us up everyday. Thank you always being there. Thank you for teaching me that Black is Beautiful. Thank you for making sure that no matter what I respected and honored my mom, you and the elders. Thanks for teaching me that I HAD to be book and street smart and that I had to know how to speak spanish and dance salsa so that I could preserve our beautiful Boricua cultura. Thank you for praying with me and trusting me with the awesome revelations that God has given you.Thank you for always keeping it real. Your love and mami's love has been the example that I have followed and it has gotten me pretty far in this thing called life. My heart lies inside of your heart and mami's heart. I wouldn't want it any other way. God answered my prayers before I was even born... He made you and mom my parents. Thank you for being you. Thank you for never leaving us. Have you been feeling tired, achy, super emotional, confused, almost like if you are battling your inner thoughts? In battle with things of your past, old behavior patterns, self esteem?
Just know that you are not alone. There IS a huge shift happening in the UNIVERSE, an intense rush of energy. Energy that is pushing those of us who love GOD and know that we are "children of light" to STEP OUR GAME UP and stop blaming others for the things happening in our cypher.
The pressure you/we are feeling is to be LOVE, PEACE and COMPASSION in an age/time where folks are running wild with no solid ground below them. WE HAVE TO BE THE SOLID GROUND.
Violence is at an all-time high and it's because GOD is not at the forefront of peoples thoughts. GOD has become the one we call on when things are bad and off.

As I lose inches, pounds, guilt, shame, depression, low self esteem and years of bad habits, I am able to reflect on the empathy, discipline and courage that it takes to transform myself.
Temptation seeks to drain and disorient you. Grab temptation by the horns today, speak authority over it, and walk in faith knowing that it is handled in Jesus name.
Being authentic, being in integrity, leading by example and choosing wisely have been the keys to becoming successful in this lifestlyle shift. God, juicing, vitamins, eletrolytes, hydrofit and bikram have become the center of my universe.
